Fellowship

St. James is a neighborhood church with an open-door policy.  Everyone is welcome to come and worship and to be a part of our community.  For those who want to make a deeper commitment to the congregation and to be involved in ministry and outreach, however, Fellowship - that is, becoming a member of St. James - is a natural next step.  We believe that God calls us to follow Him and His disciples and to witness to the world about the wonders of His grace.  Becoming a member means that you make a commitment to the other members to attend worship regularly, live a Godly life to the best of your ability, and to serve God with your time, resources and talents.

Joining St. James

Basics is a four-week overview of the Christian faith. Classes are suitable for people desiring information about the Lutheran Church or for those who want to become a part of the St. James fellowship but come from a non-Lutheran background.  Courses are offered once in the spring and once in the fall.  Classes generally take place on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. and are repeated on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m.  Register for Basics.
